Roland Hilaire is willing and able to share his  knowledge with other people who are beginning to learn about voodoo.  Born in 1959 in Petit-Goave, Haiti he is the creator of grandperistyle.com .  He  attended elementary in Petit-Goave, Haiti and High School in Petion Ville, Haiti.  As a teenager child he developed his psychic ability through his spiritual guides.  He went on to study for psychology for two  years and theology for  a few  months.  His journey  and experiences with voodoo started en 1971 when he was only 11 years old.

There were a lot of wooden houses in the community where he, then  lived.  A blazing fire came  and started to dangerously  burn down the first two houses in that community.  The flames were so high that the  fire quickly came to  a few feet to the third house.  Suddenly a young man by the name of Gilbert Petiote took a bottle of hard liquor covered with a white sheet of paper.  He started to say a certain prayer,  and then  he walked into the blazing fire.  Everybody thought he was out of his mind. As he walked into the fire dropping the liquor, the liquor seems to  keep the flames away from him and from the  property, the fire was also contented.  

I then decided that I have to possess the this man’s knowledge. Roland started to read his father’s book and ended up getting  a spanking when his father found out.  He has been a student of occult sciences for the past 40 years.  The quest for knowledge did not stop there. Roland went on to become a free mason and also a voodoo  priest. Since then, he knew that voodoo is a religion, and a way of life.
